Senior Web Developer (m/f)

We are looking for a Senior Web Developer (m/f) in Chennai, India.

Requirements

• Diploma/Master`s degree in computer science and professional experience
• Expert programming skills, including strong experience with C++, Java and application development for the Web
• Good knowledge of server and network security issues
• Strong understanding of Linux/UNIX, Apache, and MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Experience in installing and administrating of Linux/UNIX based servers
• Knowledge of web-related technologies (HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and HTTP)
• Experience with database modeling/design and SQL
• Solid understanding of scalable server architectures, clustering and distributed systems
• Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player

Pluses

• Experience with PHP, Perl or bash-scripting
• Knowledge of Drupal or other common Open Source CMS
• Project assistant/leadership experience
• Understanding of image formats and processing
• Experience in customer communication/support
